Angelica Chow

Angelica is a graduate from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo, where she achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. She has always enjoyed interdisciplinary projects and viewing things holistically, believing that every aspect of the world is interconnected and that is what makes the world go round.

From her current work in designing and implementing energy-efficient power distribution and lighting systems for buildings, her internship at an electrical utility provider, and volunteer work with a non-profit working on solar installation in developing areas, such as Puerto Rico and Sierra Leone, Angelica has enhanced her technical skills in engineering and also developed proficient abilities in consultancy, complex problem solving, creative and adaptable thinking, collaborating with people from all different backgrounds and project management. As a woman of colour in a STEM industry, Angelica has also found a home within the Society of Women Engineers (SWE).

Outside of her academic and professional life, Angelica loves to explore her creative side as she practices piano, and designing websites which she can’t wait to apply at Lente!
